This statement explains which personal data ecommetrics.nl processes, why, for how long and what your rights are.
Who is responsible?
Ecommetrics
hi@ecommetrics.nl
What data and why
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address (required);
- the name or address of your store, if you enter it;
- where you came from: the referring website or the campaign code in the link (utm parameters);
- the time you signed up.
We only use this to let you know when Ecommetrics is available and to schedule an introduction or intake with you. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hi@ecommetrics.nl; we will then delete your data.
For each new signup, we receive an internal email notification with these details. You do not receive an automatic email.
Contact by email
If you email us, we use your email address and the content of your message to reply to you.
Visiting the website
Our hosting provider keeps technical log files, including your IP address and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working. These are kept briefly and not used to track you.
Cookies and similar technology
- We do not use tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics services.
- Your language choice (Dutch or English) is stored only in your own browser (localStorage).
- The font is served from our own server; your browser does not connect to Google for it.
- Only blog administrators receive a login cookie, which is needed to sign in.
How long we keep data
We keep waitlist data until you unsubscribe, and no longer than twelve months after Ecommetrics becomes available or after our last contact. We keep emails for as long as needed for our contact with you.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We use these service providers, who process your data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: database for the waitlist and the blog, stored in Zurich (Switzerland).
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: sending the internal notification for a new signup.
- ImprovMX and Google: receiving and forwarding email to our inbox.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including for Switzerland and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. The database is locked down: visitors can only sign up, not view the list. Only we have access.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Send your request to hi@ecommetrics.nl; we will respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
